Thanks for your interest in learning about group volunteer opportunities with Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana. We have a variety of opportunities for your group’s consideration. We’ve listed opportunities below that are a sampling of what’s possible.
Lots of factors are involved in determining what project opportunities would be the best fit for your group. Your group’s size, availability, skills, interests, etc. will all be taken into consideration in designing your project. To help begin this planning process, we invite you to complete the form below. Once we have reviewed the form, we will reach out to your group’s contact person to match your group with an opportunity and registration details.

Sample Group Volunteer Activities
- Family Fun Night/Day – This is an opportunity for your group to have fun with our guest families and to offer them an opportunity to bond with other families.
- Provide a Meal – Through our Meals from the Heart or Guided Hearts Meal Program, your group can offer a home-cooked meal to our guest families that would give them the comforts of home, especially after a long day at the hospital.
- Host an Event – This opportunity allows groups to host an event such as a holiday or birthday party, hold a collection drive to collect much needed items such as: pantry staples, snacks, water, toys, etc. for the House that would then be dropped off.
- Game Night – Your group can schedule a day to come and play games such as Bingo with our guest families.
